Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it's Thanksgiving time again and time to give thanks. Of coarse they mean give thanks superficially. If you're one of those ppl that says "oh, i give thanks for" my health, or my family, or Whatever then U.R.Lame. What i give thanks for this year?

Thank you for this fine piece of awesome!

Speaking of awesome... like awe-smacking awesome. Watched Kung-Fu Panda of all movies and really liked it. It encompassed several of my favorite things 1) Kung-Fu & 2)Jack Black. There are like TONS of stars voicing characters on this show and overall it's a good movie.

Which reminds me. Chop Socky, my place sometime early next year. It will be a Saturday afternoon/evening event. I have like a dozen Kung-Fu movies that are all dubbed Engrish so the mouths don't match up... the only way to watch them.

DRAGONFORCE!

Jason Totally hooked me up with some discs this weekend. Regretfully i have not made it through all of them but wanted to share something. DRAGONFORCE! Made famous from the unbeatable Guitar Hero finale, always kinda thought it was a joke. Well, sufice to say, i was a bit wrong. This is actually GOOD SHTUFF. For those less fortunate, Dragonforce is the ultimate result of what would happen if a plane full of snakes crashed carrying the members of Europe (the Final Countdown band) and Avenged SevenFold and the strewn dismembered parts were put together by some Dr. Frankenstein and his assistant who resembles Jack Black. Okay, that was a little extreme, but you should get the picture...

i dig it

Diablo!

sorry i have not been on recently, seems i've caught a bit of a bug. Not sick, just stuffy/sinus-y. Seems that this started earlier in the week. Could it have been brought on by the 14+ hours straight of the original Diablo i played last Sunday-Monday? i believe that the original Diablo marathon (Joe & i played til dawn the weekend it came out in 1996) was awesome, but i proved my endurance once again. Last weekend i was bit by the nostalgia bug and broke out some old school hack and slash'n.

Weekend Schedule

Saturday:

started out like any other lazy day... til i had this brain bust of watching the movie Speed Racer. Anyone who has seen this knows it is beyond tripped out, so what do i do? i decided to watch this movie wearing the 3-D glasses acquired from Journey at the Center of the Earth w/ Brenden "Bedazzled MonkeyBone Mummy Dudley Dowright Scrubs and yes, GI Joe" Frazier *how's that for a Blast from the Past?

well, needless to say the glasses didn't work too well. no, just left me with a massive headache and my eyes felt like they were being pry'd out by spoons...

Racer X was pretty cool though, confirming the fact that he has and will always be a Bad Ass. Only one thing, his character was played by Matthew "from my Vantage Point I Lost my Party of Five, but Behind the Mask We Are Marshall Smokin' Aces" Fox (wow).

Later... i got a couple movies from a friend @ work. The one i watched was a cool little film called Saved! Big recommendations for this film from me. Possibly one of the most BELIEVABLE movies i've seen in a 4-really long time! nice job, Jesus...
oh, and BTW my goalie Roberto Luongo just got his 5th shutout of the season (3rd straight)... and now...

Election Day...

plus, http://www.zazzle.com/starwarselection

A long time ago, this was supposed to come out!

so i've been waiting for like 8 years for this movie to come out! finally a 4real trailer. AND it features one of the future Ghostbusters in Ghostbusters 3 (possibly)

"The movie follows four "Star Wars" fanboys from the Midwest who drive across the country to honor the wish of their dying friend: to see the yet-unreleased "Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace" in its most optimal setting, George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch."

i know, stupid right... YES!!! that's one reason why i love it!!!
